About Us

Quilt Haus, Way to Sew, and Creative Sewlutions are proud partners in providing exceptional sewing and quilting supplies, service, support, and inspiration to all. All three brands are part of the Modern Cotton LLC family, owned by Deanne Moore, designer of Creative Sewlutions patterns.

Previously a high school and college instructor, Deanne's time is now divided between her four wonderful children (three grown and flown, one in college), the needs and continued development of her businesses, and occasional escapes, to places near and far, for fresh inspiration and ideas.

Opened in 2002, The Quilt Haus celebrated its 21st Anniversary in late 2023. The business has experienced much growth and expansion throughout the years, including a major remodel, and the addition of our conjoined sister store, Way to Sew, which opened in July 2014.  We are an active HandiQuilter retailer (since 2002), offer quilting services to the public, and have an all-star machine technician.  We are preparing for another major change now - sign up for our newsletter for details as they are available!

Deanne started Creative Sewlutions pattern company in 2005, responding to the needs and requests of her quilt shop customers for fun, achieveable quilt patterns, especially those featuring large scale prints. The pattern line now has many, many patterns, including some as a guest designer for Villa Rosa, and is carried nationwide.

With a dedication to customer service and unique, quality products and services, Deanne and her friendly, knowledgeable staff are eager to assist customers in bringing their creative ideas to life!
