2020 will feature a 12 month program, running from January to December. Choose from three fabric themes: **Jewel tones** **Bright pastels** **1800s Reproductions**
and choose your own background fabric! NOTE: We are not using a particular “line” of fabric for any of the colorway choices.
We will meet on the 4th Saturday of each month and on the following Monday; both sessions begin promptly at 10am. There are a few scheduled adjustments to the dates, due to holidays and major events. Please see notes given out at first meeting for details, and refer to our Facebook page for reminders.
All sessions include block tips, show & tell, demos, drawings and prizes, and lots of fun and camaraderie! Choose whichever session best fits your schedule each month. If you can’t make it to either session or don‘t finish your block (for any reason at all!) there is a $5 fine to receive the next month’s block pattern and fabric kit.
**YOU have to attend the full session- yes, your breathing, happy self, live and in person - with YOUR completed block, to get the next one free - no exceptions!**
The enrollment fee for 2020 is $42, which includes monthly kits and sessions, and the setting pattern. It does not include any setting fabrics, since you are not required to set the blocks in any particular way. The setting pattern is included, and additional suggestions will be given, in case you want some ideas. If you would like to subscribe to additional colorways, they are $29 each, which includes the monthly fabric kit only.
Backgrounds: Choose any background fabric you would like (maximum price $11.99/yd) The actual blocks require 1.5 yds; the blocks and setting as shown require 5.5 yds total. A 1.5 yard piece of background is included with your enrollment, but if you plan to use the setting shown, we recommend the purchase of a single 5.5 yard piece for availability and dye lot consistency (you will be charged for any yardage in excess of 1.5 yards). Background fabric guidelines also apply to any extra colorways chosen. Additional setting fabric requirements will be discussed at the first session.
