After encountering countless experienced quilters who know virtually nothing about types, qualities, and characteristics of one of our most fundamental items - quilt batting - I'm holding a class! Receive a $10 gift certificate upon completion of the class. Use it on batting, or anything else!

Beginner's Quilting Basics - learn cutting, piecing, block and row assembly, borders, and basic machine quilting options.

Back by popular demand! This striking 59x74" quilt (add borders for bed size larger than twin) uses just two fabrics - an ombre print and a feature print. Class will combine instructional time and "homework" sewing so that you leave day two with a finished top! More samples to see at the shop and on our FB page.

Fun, simple clutch made using Quiltsmart pre-printed interfacing. One pattern package makes multiple clutches!

Beginning Piecing class - start a lap size or larger quilt or make a small wall hanging. Your choice! Learn the most basic quilt piecing skills, including rotary measuring and cutting, strip piecing, nesting seams, and attaching borders, with one of our longtime beginning quilting teachers!

This class is for the intermediate to confident quilter. We will be using the pattern and printed interfacing from Quiltsmart. Sizes available are for 38" and 58" stars. **Please plan to cut rectangles for star points prior to class.**

Deanne will be sharing, discussing, and demonstrating some of the long arm quilting techniques, "tricks," and a few "shortcuts" that will make your longarm quilting experience easier. Q&A welcome! Owner and renters all welcome. Receive a $10 gift certificate upon completion of the class.

If you've never used your serger, or need a refresher, come in for a basics class with Kari. Bring your machine, the accessories, manual, and 4 different colored spools of serger thread. Learn how to thread and use your serger for basic projects. Project classes will be starting in July!

Make this enormous tote, large enough to hold a 24"x36" cutting mat (really!) and plenty more. Pattern by a quilter, for quilters. Experienced teacher with lots of tips! Some pre-class cutting required.

Learn how to make your binding strips, placement on quilt, mitering corners and joining of binding ends. Several different ways to finish the binding off will be shown and discussed. Sewing machine and basic sewing supplies required. Fabric supplies included.

Learn about different techniques for more versatile bindings. Great tips for binding wallhangings, baby blankets, minkee quilts, adding accents, and more. No machine needed; discussion/samples with Q&A. Enroll by June 21 and receive a $10 store gift certificate after attending the class.
